Happened this morning, no matter what app I open the keyboard is tiny, even if I disconnect my Apple Pencil, what can I do?
Just use your fingers and spread them apart, and it should expand.

That’s what she said.

I know these types of silly struggles can be very frustrating.

You can further pinch out to get a split keyboard.
@Haru
Unless you’re on a 13.9” or 13” iPad. Then, it isn’t an option.

This doesn’t work for me. Is there a setting I’m missing?

If you have the Apple Pencil, the scribble capability can cause the small keyboard that can’t be resized with two fingers. I had to go to Settings > Apple Pencil and turn off Scribble. Then I went back to Safari to test the keyboard, which was back to full size, and then I re-enabled Scribble.

Same, I tried many times, but the keyboard doesn’t get bigger for me. :\
@Noor
Some take longer than others to fully open up; be patient.

Ok. I searched a YouTube video, and I found that you need to do it faster. If you do it slowly like you would with a photo, it doesn’t work.

I think there are some apps where it just doesn’t work. For me, it’s Gmail.
So, do you consider 3” small??

Pencil size.
Your iPad knows you.
It’s called a ‘floating keyboard,’ which you can toggle using finger gestures.
Size isn’t as important as how you use it.
