Who else moved from iPhone 8 Plus to 16 Plus… worth it?

My iPhone 8 Plus was working fine, but WhatsApp stopped opening, and I use it a lot… so I had to upgrade.

It doesn’t really affect WhatsApp or YouTube, so I don’t care.

Gotta give credit to the iPhone 8… it lasted way longer than most phones. If it held up this long, the SE might’ve worked for you too.

Yeah, I was waiting for the SE 4… but my 8 Plus gave up a few months too soon :frowning:

My iPhone 8 still runs WhatsApp, but I had to upgrade because my Apple Watch wouldn’t work anymore.

Same here. Just got the 16, dropped the 14PM. Had every iPhone except X and XR…

Just got a 16 Plus for my mum… her 8 Plus was so slow, most apps wouldn’t even open. Thought about getting the 16PM, but the Plus felt lighter and looked better. She loves it, and I don’t regret it.

Good choice. Bigger screen is great for parents, and I doubt they care about 120hz or 5x zoom. No need to spend extra.

Exactly! If you don’t compare it side by side with a 120hz screen, you don’t even notice.

The only time I notice 120hz is when fast scrolling. If you just read or browse normally, 60hz feels fine.

Yeah, everything runs smooth. I have a 13 Pro now, but I might get the 17 Plus when it drops.

I get what you mean. I had a foldable and still prefer picking that up over my 16PM. The Pro Max just feels too big sometimes.
