I noticed an asterisk next to the time on my iPhone recently, and I’m not sure what it means. I’ve checked my settings, and everything seems to be in order, but the asterisk is still there.
Does anyone know what this symbol indicates? Is it something I should be concerned about, or is it just a minor glitch?
Any help or advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated 
It’s usually just a sign that there’s an alarm or reminder set for that time. If everything looks good in your settings, it’s probably just that.
I just tested it—it’s Focus Mode with the custom asterisk icon.
Are you using Focus Mode right now?
The asterisk next to the time on your iPhone indicates that Do Not Disturb mode is activated. When in this mode, your device silences incoming calls, messages, and notifications during a specified period or under certain conditions.
