For me, it’s reminders. Just raising my wrist and saying ‘Remind me to do X in 3 hours’ without pressing any buttons is so helpful. I use it all day long.
You can set reminders for later, for a specific time, or even when you arrive at a location. You can also make them repeat daily, weekly, or whenever you need.
Timers are another big one, especially while cooking. Just lifting my wrist and saying ‘30-minute timer’ is super convenient.
I used this all the time on my old Pixel Watch, and I love Google Tasks, but the Apple Watch makes it even easier since you don’t need to press anything or say a trigger phrase.
There are so many great smartwatch features, but this is the one that makes the biggest difference for me.

The ‘ping my phone’ button is a lifesaver.
Same! My kids take my phone to play games or FaceTime family, then leave it somewhere random. The watch saves me from having to search the whole house every time.
Waking up to a silent alarm that just vibrates on my wrist is amazing. I thought it wasn’t working at first, but I just woke up right on time without the blaring noise.

Same here! But now I’ve trained myself to snooze the vibration without actually waking up. I have to set multiple alarms just to make sure I get up.
Seeing texts on my wrist is a huge help. I work on a production floor where phones aren’t allowed, but smartwatches are fine. Helps me keep track of important stuff like family messages.
The flashlight is a top feature for me. I mentioned this in another thread—it’s great for parents when looking for pacifiers or anything in the dark while putting a baby to bed.
