What bugs are people seeing in iPadOS 17

On my iPad Pro 12.9 I lose the Magic Keyboard arrow function after a few minutes of use until I reboot The trackpad cursor also freezes from time to time

The only problem I’m facing is when I call someone the speaker turns on automatically I tried to turn it off in settings but it still happens

I hope Apple fixes their Books The app crashes so often it’s really frustrating

I don’t know if this is common but when I mark up a PDF in the Notes app the rest of the PDFs go blank The only solution I found was to reset the app

I have an iPad 6th gen and just updated to iPadOS 17.0.1 but some features are still missing I can’t do stickers from photos Some fonts are missing in lock screen customization Stage Manager is also missing Widgets aren’t interactive

@Ellis
Stage Manager isn’t supported on the iPad 6th gen Only iPad Pro and newer Air models have it It feels like Apple keeps reserving more features for the Pro and Air iPads

Also, you probably can’t get stickers from photos or use other features because your iPad is too old and lacks a Neural Engine

What’s up with the new default tone Apple changed the default tone from Tri Tone to Rebound and it affects sounds from all third-party apps It’s too quiet and hard to hear and there’s no way to change it

This is a big problem for those of us with home security systems The alert we get when someone is near our home is now this new Rebound tone I can’t hear it which is a safety issue I’ve seen this brought up in many other forums I hope Apple addresses this soon or I might switch to Android

What if someone tries to break in and I don’t hear them Because of this low alert

I can’t actually turn off my iPad when it’s plugged in It just restarts itself

Also, when it’s plugged in occasionally it makes a sound like when you first connect it but it always says it’s charging

The battery on my iPad Mini 5 drains faster after the update and it’s really frustrating

My iPad Air 5 started being unresponsive It turns off or freezes after a few hours of not using it Restarting it helps turn it on again but that’s not a real fix I tried turning off the option to turn off when closing the cover and that helps a little but drains the battery quickly I haven’t found a solution to these issues My iPad was fine on iPadOS 16 I’m considering downgrading or something

Should I get iPadOS 17 on an iPad 9th generation
Are there any users with the same model here Can you recommend it to me

Am I the only one having problems with the control center The control center and notification panel don’t respond and only work after 4-5 tries or not at all This started after I updated to 17 I can’t tell if it’s a software issue or a physical problem with my iPad
