It’s a solid phone, and if you’re used to Android, you’ll probably like it. But for me, Face ID is way better for secure apps. The fingerprint scanner failed too often, even with multiple fingers saved. Group messaging was a mess—separate threads for the same people. Apps work better on iPhones, and the S25U was just too big. The camera overexposed shots, and there was a lot of grain. Battery died on day one, though tweaking settings improved it. At $1300, I expected more.

When you say apps are better, what do you mean? Also, did the S25U feel fast? I have a 16PM and love it, but I’m curious about the S25U.

I have both the 16PM and S25U. I use the S25U daily, and honestly, it’s faster. No issues like the ones mentioned above. If you’re tempted, try it out—you won’t regret it.

Just my experience, man. It is fast, no doubt. If they fix those things, I’d reconsider. But seeing S24U users getting left behind on updates while lower-end models move forward doesn’t sit right. iPhones from years ago still get the latest updates at the same time.

For me, it’s better. I don’t game, just social media and YouTube. Depends on the user. Charging is much faster than the 16PM, which is a plus.

I barely lasted a day. Sold mine and got a 16 Pro Max instead.

Same here. Switched from an S24 Ultra.

Did the same. Tried an S24U for four months last year and went back. Android apps just aren’t as smooth.

Almost the same story here… went from a 13 Mini to a Pixel 9 Pro, then back to iOS with the 16 Pro. Apple’s system just works. Boring in a good way.

PS: Never tried the Pixel Watch, so not sure if it offers the same insights as the Apple Watch.

Tried the S21U, S23U, and S24U after my iPhone 12. Now I’m back with the 16PM.
