My iPad turned off, and my power button is broken. Is there any way I can turn it on again?

Hate to say this, but your iPad might be dead, or the display may have failed.

But it would turn on with 50% battery, right? :cry:

Does it not click, is it missing, or does it click but not function? You might need to do a force reset, which requires the power button.

Thanks… it clicks but won’t function. I had to wait for my display to shut off. It didn’t bother me until now.

Try holding the home button and power button for 20 seconds and see if it reboots. Otherwise, I’m sorry to say that iPad may be a goner.

Go to Settings, then Accessibility, and find the option called AssistiveTouch. That might help! As for your power button, I recommend getting it repaired where you bought it. What kind of iPad do you have? Is it a base model, Pro, or Mini?

I can’t go into settings since it won’t turn on. It’s the base model 9th gen.

Try tapping the screen to see if it wakes up. Try that!

The iPad 9th gen doesn’t have that feature, I believe.

I’m from Germany, didn’t get AppleCare, so the warranty was just a year. I’ll probably just get a new one. :frowning: But thanks anyways.
