Should I be worried about my iPhone battery?

From 100% to 92% in 3 months and battery starts to drain much faster. Anyone else experiencing this?

@Bayley
I’ve had it like this for 189 cycles.

@Ocean
What’s your screen on time (SOT)?

@Bayley
Do you live in a very cold country by any chance?

I got similar stats, but my cycle count is at 263.

@Aldrin
I’m sorry about that.

@Cass
I’m similar to you, I’ve had it since October 2023 with 89% capacity.

I’m at 89% and got my iPhone 15 Plus in October 2023.

My iPhone 15 Pro has 235 cycles and 96% max capacity, first used in October 2023. Your battery capacity is not bad, but have you tried Optimized Battery Charging or setting a charge limit?

I’ve been using Optimized Battery Charging, but I try not to charge above 90% and never let it drop below 20%. I’ve had it since March 6th.

I don’t think it’s a problem until it goes under 80% within the first year, Apple doesn’t consider it an issue until then.

Kind of. Apple promises 80% after 1000 cycles for the 15 series, but these batteries are degrading much faster, probably 80% by 500 cycles. It’s not terrible yet, but just be prepared.

I had the iPhone XR before, and after 1 year it had 97%, and after 5 years, 78%. I don’t understand why the iPhone 15’s battery is dropping so fast.

@Sawyer
Apple really messed up, and it looks like they don’t plan to fix it. Getting a 15 series was a mistake, the 13/14 Pros were much better for the value.

@Peyton
My battery dropped today. How often do you use and charge your phone?
