Scratched my 3-month-old Apple Watch… Any fixes?

I knew I was a bit rough with my watch, but my nephews made sure it didn’t stand a chance. They scratched it within the first month while playing games on it. That one wasn’t too bad, but now there’s another scratch that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Any tricks to make it less noticeable? Maybe a watch face that helps hide it? Right now, I use Snoopy on a purple background, which worked before, but this new scratch is just too obvious.

Try a screen protector from Amazon. It won’t remove the scratch, but it might help hide it.

@Perrin
That’s a very ‘accept your fate’ kind of response lol.

The glossy black finish holds up better than I expected!

Do you have AppleCare+ on it?

Yeah, I do.

Yeah, I do.

Might be worth looking into a replacement or repair then.

AppleCare+ doesn’t cover cosmetic damage though, just so you know.

I put a screen protector on mine the same day I got it. Helps prevent scratches and keeps it looking new.

That sucks… I’d be so annoyed if that happened to mine.

Lmao, does your AppleCare+ have 8 years left or something?

If the scratch is really bothering you and you have AppleCare+, just ‘accidentally’ break the watch and get a replacement. Otherwise, just live with it and try not to let it get to you.

Yeah, that’s straight-up insurance fraud.

I actually do have AppleCare+ with accidental damage coverage.

@Zen
That still won’t help unless the scratch turns into a crack. AppleCare+ doesn’t cover minor scratches.

@Zen
You’d have to pay a small fee to get it replaced, though.

@Zen
If you’re in India, it costs about 5000 rupees for a replacement under AppleCare+.
