Saw a black iPhone 2G on a marketplace… is it real or a custom one?

Looks like a replica. The charger doesn’t look original, and that’s probably a sticker showing the lock screen.

The charger seems legit for European versions—it has the EU adapter attached. As for the screen, I doubt it’s a sticker. I found this on a French marketplace, and the text ‘Déverrouiller’ is in French.

@Niko
Looks sketchy. What charger is it exactly?

You’ve never heard of the 30-pin charger, huh?

I have, but at first glance, it looked like a MagSafe.

This isn’t official, 100%. Apple never made the first iPhone in black. Either someone anodised the back or replaced it with a third-party one. Since the backs weren’t user-replaceable, the insides might be damaged too.

Are you collecting? What’s your reason for buying this phone?

Yeah, seems like a waste of time and money.

Is that the original charger? I thought the first-gen iPhone charger was smaller and thinner. Could be wrong though, my first iPhone was a 7. :person_shrugging:
