I definitely feel better every day. It makes me wonder how I got by before.

I have the same VO2 max as when you started, and it really motivates me to push myself and improve. I will start running; thank you :muscle:.

@Benaiah
That’s awesome! I’m glad I could offer just a bit of inspiration. I believe in you! Good luck on your health journey!

Congrats! I wish my Series 10 had this feature.

It should, right? I don’t think it relies on the blood oxygen sensor.

Really?!?! I’m super new (20 days) to the Apple Watch and still learning.

@JessicaThompson
I think only Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Run, or Hiking workouts support it, according to Apple.

Yep, I just found a page explaining how to set it up. Thanks! I thought it relied on the oxygen sensor, so I assumed it wasn’t available. Again, thank you.

@JessicaThompson
Would you mind sharing the page?

Congrats on the amazing lifestyle change! You must be feeling so much better and healthier.

How much were you running daily? I would love to improve like this!

I started out running about 2 miles a day, then eventually upped it to 3 and 4. Now I’m running anywhere from 4-6 miles a day and walking an additional mile or two every few days.

My VO2 max fluctuates from 39.5 this month to 46.6 last year. Is that good?

Could you share your resting heart rate over the year?

@Indigo
Perfect, good job.

Just to be clear, were you only walking up until February when your VO2 max was decreasing?

I was mostly walking during that time, and I also had an injury that prevented me from intense exercise, but I healed up in a few weeks.

Wow, that’s really amazing. Great work! :muscle:

A lot of comments focus on whether or not the numbers are great or bad, age, and other factors. You always have to keep in mind that these small sensors on your wrist measure your vitals. Unless you’re in a real test center or clinic, you won’t get a completely accurate answer.
HOWEVER, the most important and impressive achievement is seeing the progress you’ve made.

Awesome work, keep it up! :trophy:
