I just noticed that the date disappeared from the Lock Screen after updating to 18.3.1. I actually like the cleaner look. Anyone else?
Not gonna lie… this bug on 18.3.1 that removes the date on top is kinda cool… what do you all think?
I just want them to let us centre the medium-sized weather widget on the Lock Screen… that would make a big difference

That would be great, especially now that iOS is becoming more customisable
You don’t need a bug to do that.
Just hold down on the Lock Screen, hit customise, then tap on the date. You should see an option to remove it.

That’s not possible… not sure why people downvoted me for saying that. You can’t remove the date from the top.

Nope, it still shows the date no matter what. The ‘none’ option is only on watchOS

I use an app called Dark Noise… they have a widget that’s completely invisible. It makes the Lock Screen look super clean.

Yeah, because of iOS limitations, you can’t have a blank space up there. The date will always be visible, so for now, using DN’s widget is a good workaround
I really wish they’d shrink the clock, cell signal, and battery icons. They’re way bigger and further from the top on my 16 Pro Max than they were on my 12 Pro Max. Feels like they’re in the way
