If all the colors were in a deep shade, they would look fantastic, but I really dislike the pastel shades on the front, mouse, and keyboard. The orange one looks like salmon.
I agree! I love the back of my blue one, but looking at the front makes me wish I had just gotten grey.

The back of the orange is my favorite, but because of the peachy color, I went for the yellow instead!

I’m really happy with my blue iMac, but every time I see the green or pink ones, I’m like wow that color would look amazing on my desk too. It was always between blue and green, and when I chose blue, I briefly thought I might have made a mistake haha.
Which color do you have and do you still like it? If not, would you swap it out or have you already changed it for another color?
I went for the green M1 but might pick silver next time.
Silver looks more futuristic and I’ll still have access to silver accessories in the future.
Right now, only silver accessories are readily available going forward unfortunately.

Has anyone had a 27 inch model before this? Does the M3 feel much smaller? I’m moving to the 24 inch.

I regret getting the yellow one for my son. It looks more gold in person, and it’s a greener gold rather than an orange gold. It’s still cool, but next time I’ll get green or blue. I’d love it if MacBooks got similar vibrant colors. The colorful iBooks were amazing. They should do something like that for upcoming affordable models to compete with Chromebooks in schools. Fingers crossed.

It’s probably wrong to call it green gold, but it’s not as vibrant as I hoped.

I expected them to actually recreate the color variety they had with the iMac G3 and iBook G3. The power Macs of that time had pops of color as well. I can’t recall if those had the same colors as the iMacs and iBooks.

I thought the space gray on my M1 would be darker, so I was a bit let down. Not a huge deal though.

I had a 27 inch before and I agree, my silver M3 iMac doesn’t feel much more compact. I also used to have a 21 inch Cinema Display as a second monitor, but now I’m using Sidecar with an iPad.

Thanks. I guess having 3 inches smaller isn’t a big deal. My 27 is a 2013 model, so the new M3 has a much better resolution anyway. Mine is before the 5K versions came out.

Mine was a 2012. The new display is so much better that it probably compensates for being smaller, not to mention how much speedier it is.

Good to hear. Since your 27 was 2012, we must’ve had the same display, so that makes my decision easier. Just need to finalize my color choice. I’m leaning towards silver. I plan to add 24GB of RAM and that should do it
I noticed the Geekbench scores for the new iMac are double if not more than mine in some tests.

I got 24GB RAM and a 512GB drive. The M3 is so quick! Apps open instantly and there’s zero delay—what a difference!

I opted for silver and I’m very happy. I dislike that the best color of the other iMacs is only visible on the back. Otherwise, I would have gone with blue.

I love my blue one. It looks wonderful on my glass height-adjustable desk.

I really like all the colors and I particularly like the green one that we bought.

I don’t get why they went with these awful colors.

I got the purple M1 and while I still like it, I wish I had gotten the green instead.
