Not really for me. I upgraded from a 14 Max to a 16 Max for the larger screen size and weight difference. To be honest, this phone runs perfectly. I’m not using Apple Intelligence yet. It’s still too new and the ChatGPT integration doesn’t function yet.

For me, it’s not just about who created it or that it’s an app. I have a 13 Pro Max, and if these features can only be accessed by hacking the software, doesn’t that indicate Apple is deliberately limiting them through software, pushing people to upgrade unnecessarily?

There are legit reasons for blocking features on older hardware since they may not be able to support them. Not saying that’s the case here, just that software restrictions aren’t always bad.

Not always bad, but Apple often does not enable features for older devices.
