I just bought the new iPad Air m3 with the free Apple Pencil Pro (education offer)… Super excited! What apps do you guys recommend? Looking for ideas on widgets, photo editing, games, and note-taking. Would love to hear your favorites.
Try Flexcil… It’s like GoodNotes but free. You can pay for more features if you want, but the free version is great. GoodNotes doesn’t even have a free option.

What’s the best note-taking app? I don’t mind if it’s paid
@Zade
Noteful is a good one… It’s a one-time purchase and works well enough for most people. Not quite as fancy as GoodNotes but still really solid.
@Zade
I stick with OneNote… Does everything I need.
Congrats! I love my iPad too… Don’t listen to anyone who says they’re useless. There’s so much you can do with them! Noteful is my go-to for note-taking (only $5 for premium and packed with features). GoodNotes is alright but a bit buggy and more expensive. I also love using VLLO for video editing… Great quality for the price. Procreate is awesome for drawing or just messing around creatively. Also, reading on the iPad is a game-changer… Makes it easy to switch between notes and reading stuff (I even do Bible study on mine). One weird one I love is the Post-it app… I use it to keep sticky notes on the home screen for reminders. For scheduling, I use Google Calendar and language learning apps too. If you plan to use it like a laptop, a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse are definitely worth getting.
@Tate
I’m totally gonna do all that! I’m a Christian too … I already use VLLO on my phone, so that’s good to know. Never heard of Noteful, but I’ll definitely check it out… Thanks!

You’re welcome! Oh, and WidgetSmith is great if you like adding custom widgets to your home screen. God bless you!
@Tate
Got it! God bless you too
You got yourself an awesome device!
Nice one!
Congrats on the new iPad… How’s the battery life? I got the M2 and it’s kinda disappointing… Thinking of switching if the M3 is better.

Haven’t really tested it yet… I’ll let you know after about a week or so.
Congrats on the new gadget!

Hey, congrats on the iPad! Here’s a tip: Set up a shortcut to notify you when the battery drops below 15% and another when it gets to 80%… That way, you can avoid draining it completely or overcharging. Also, go through your settings and turn off stuff you don’t need running in the background to save battery. Here’s a video that might help…

Hope that’s useful… Cheers from Venezuela!
