Is there any hope of fixing it? And if so, how much would it cost? It still powers on, but only to tell me it needs to be charged.

Do you have AppleCare? If not, the repair might not be worth it.

Might as well toss it. Apple Watch repairs are pretty limited. Even with AppleCare, they usually just swap it out instead of fixing it.

Might be worth putting on eBay. Someone might want it for parts.

I got a tiny scratch on mine, and they said the whole thing had to be replaced. Even with AppleCare, I didn’t want to swap a whole watch over a scratch. They’ll probably say the same thing to you.
