I’ve had my iPhone 14 for just 7 months and 10 days, and the battery health is already showing wear. Anyone else seeing this? What’s normal?
Mine’s at 87% after 14 months. Not great but seems normal.

Same here… seems like it’s just how these batteries are.
Did you use a cheap charger or let it overheat while charging? That can mess it up.

I use a good charger. I do a lot of videography and play games like PUBG sometimes. I think it overheats during those times.
@Petronilla
That explains it. You could try using a cooling fan or even an ice pack when filming. Or just replace the battery when it drops below 80%.
What’s the battery cycle count?

It was around 302 last time I checked.

That sounds like a lot for 7 months.

I’ve got 432 cycles in 14 months and 92% health left. Guess usage really matters.
My 14 Pro is still at 100% after 7 months.
Do you charge with a cable or MagSafe?

Mine is down to 85% after 2 years, and I’ve used MagSafe.

I charge with a cable.
Same issue with my Pro, but I used it constantly for work and entertainment.

Are you still using it? Did you notice any difference in screen-on time?

I upgraded last week, but yeah, it was slowly losing screen-on time.
My iPhone 6s has the original battery and it’s still at 90%. What’s going on with these newer batteries?
I’m at 87% after 10 months. It’s so frustrating.

Guess that’s just how it is. Annoying, though.
