How can I stop this screen from showing automatically?

Smart Stack is like having to look at a messy utensil drawer every time you want to look at the kitchen clock.

Exactly!

Thanks for the question. Been wanting to ask but lazy to make one.

Recently Apple has gone backward on usability UI.

Even photo app is messy af now.

How can I turn off the date and the clock in the smart stack? Because I just came from my watchface and I can remember what time it is for 3 seconds.

Oh wait, you can’t turn it off…

It could also help to turn off the double tap gesture on your watch if it supports it. You may accidentally tap/move your fingers in a way, which triggers the smart stack to appear. Of course turning it off will make you lose other functionalities along with it.

When does this happen?

It’s showing because your hand/wrist is turning the crown when you twist your arm to read the time. It happens to me a lot and my Ultra 2 is about to go into a drawer forever because of it.

This does happen to me as well with my ultra (left arm, left crown oriented) but the person who posted this is probably dealing with the smart stack shortcut.

Turn off ‘suggestions’ under Smart Stack in the settings. And turn off live activities.

I absolutely detest this feature.

Nope, it has definitely not been asked 40 times a day for the last month.

It’s my first time seeing it asked and it’s been bothering me as well so I’m glad to see it and glad I found the answer at the top.

@Jesse
Glad I dared ask!

I don’t know why you are being downvoted because this is the truth. We are tired of seeing the same post over and over.

Every single day.

Nope, no one knows.

Anyone know how to search a forum to find an answer without having to ask the same question again and again?

Asking for a friend.
