How can I stop this screen from showing automatically?

Literally who downvotes a post like this? I swear the baseline behavior of users on this forum pushes me away more and more every day. Can we please allow helpful posts to actually get boosted? So ridiculous

@Jonah
People who don’t personally think they need such things and think everyone should behave like them. Then there’s the dog shit tier that starts arguing that the person asking for the feature is wrong. I remember one where someone asked how to reject a call on iPhone without letting the caller know back when iPhone forced a full screen incoming call screen and there were dozens of people chipping in about not being a wimp and growing a spine to answer all the calls.

@Vic
That is a hilarious example

@Jonah
This is basically every forum. I always find it helpful to remind myself that people who scour forums all day are actually weird, enthusiast nerds with poor social skills and not just, like, normal people sort of interested in a product or whatever.

@Fane
This forum in particular is outrageous with downvoting and smartass comments.

It’s particularly infuriating considering how intuitive Apple products usually are. The explanations are usually so simple, yet everyone wants to be the ‘cool guy’ that sh*t-talks the person who posted this. Lame af

@Jonah
Probably because this is posted every couple of days and could be easily figured out just by scrolling a little bit. Or googling.

They don’t know what to type. They don’t know what Smart Stacking is. To expect people to know that by default is more downvote-able than any troubleshooting post

@Jonah
I don’t know, man. I googled ‘Apple Watch update 11.0.1’ and learned what Smart Stack was in 2 seconds, and then I googled how to turn it off but sure!!

You’re that toxic person no one wants to be around.

If you look through the rest of the comments, you’ll find a lot of people who were helped by this post now that the losers ran out of downvotes. Did you find the peace of mind that you were searching for? Did being ‘that guy’ bring you satisfaction? (I know you’ll say yes but we all know you’re going through changes, you’ll learn in time to be better)

@Jonah
This same question is posted every day.

How do you search the forum for the answer if you don’t know what this screen is called? Besides scrolling through every single post?

@Jonah
There are 10s of posts like this… Search isn’t that hard

While I agree with the overwhelming amount of posts related to this feature, how does one search for this issue if they don’t know what it’s called. Also usually similar posts are titled ‘huh, what’s this’ or ‘how do I get rid of this!?!’ which makes search a bit difficult.

It isn’t that hard if you know what to search for. If they knew the meaning of ‘Smart Stack’ they wouldn’t even need to look it up.

Yet everyone is out there upvoting stupid posts of people sharing pictures of their watch ‘I GOT MY WATCH’

Cool we’ve all seen them 100000x. But someone asking for help is mocked.
