I’m almost sure I’ll go for the Plus, as I really need a larger screen. Coming from the Pixel 7 Pro.
I take photos as a hobby, browse the web, text, and even take calls.
I don’t play games on my phone.
Do I really need the Pro Max?
The Plus is perfect for most people.
The Pro is for a select few.
But, why did you choose the Pixel 7 Pro back then?

I can’t remember, it was a couple of years ago.
The Pixel’s fine, but I guess I’ve just ended up in the Apple ecosystem by accident.

Go with the Plus.
The colors are way better.
Pro res? 4K 120hz? Honestly, most people won’t even notice those features.
The promotion is nice, but it’s probably not worth it for most users.
Definitely the Plus.

The Pro Max is great for photos. The zoom is really impressive.
I got the Plus a week ago, and I’m very happy with it.
I was undecided too, but chose the Plus to save a bit of money. If I was really into photography, I would’ve gone for the Pro Max, but I mostly take pics of my cats. No regrets at all. 
I got an S24 Ultra for $750 on special. I want the Plus, but is it sensible? I would pay more for the Plus than I did for my Ultra. Then I’d also need an Apple Watch.
Go for the Pro.
I’ve got the Pro Max. Had the 13 Pro Max before. I’m happy with both.
Does anyone know if the Plus is as good as the Pro Max for watching videos? Is the 120hz display on the Pro Max a big deal for video quality compared to the Plus?

There’s no difference in video playback. Both play at 24fps. I’ve got the iPhone 16 Plus and a Google Pro 9 with 120hz, and the video quality is identical.
Get the Plus and then buy a camera.
Just got the Plus from a 13 Pro. I can tell the 60hz screen is noticeable, but after two days, I’m getting used to it. It’s a great phone, and I don’t regret not spending more.
I love my 16 Plus. The size is perfect. It only has two cameras, and the aluminum build makes it so much lighter than the 16 Pro Max.
