@Micah
I do a lot of road cycling, and I know someone who had their camera damaged because of this. I told them to get a Garmin or Wahoo instead of using the phone, and they finally switched to a Garmin this summer after replacing their camera.

Which phone model was it? I wonder if they’ve made improvements to vibration resistance.

It was a 14 Pro.
Yes, the vibration can damage something inside. My old 8Plus’ camera got ruined because of my motorcycle, luckily I upgraded. There are mounts with vibration dampeners, like Quadlock.

Quadlock is great, but the vibration dampener is extra.
@Jai
It’s expensive too .

They usually have great Black Friday deals.
Quadlock makes a vibration-absorbing mount. It works on bicycles or motorcycles. I use it on my motorcycle and ride with my iPhone on the handlebars for hours. https://www.quadlockcase.com
A bicycle won’t generate that kind of vibration. Just make sure your phone holder is secure and you’re good.
