So Apple officially dropped the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus after the iPhone 16e announcement. Not gonna lie, kinda expected this, but also, isn’t it weird they discontinued a mainline iPhone mid-cycle? Anyway, what do y’all think? Too many iPhones in the lineup or just normal Apple moves?
Not shocked at all. The 14 wasn’t their best model tbh. My Pro had awful battery life.

Yeah, heard the same about the battery. The 14 Plus had decent life, though, no?

Maybe, but I feel like Apple was just pushing out too many similar phones.
Honestly, Apple needs to simplify their lineup. 16e, 15, 15 Plus, 16, 16 Plus, Pro, Pro Max… it’s too much. Just give us one basic and one pro version each year.

For real. It’s starting to feel like their iPad lineup—too many options that don’t feel all that different.
No more Product Red iPhone either… that’s a bummer.

Yeah, I always liked the Product Red versions. Wonder if they’ll bring it back for another model later.
So is this officially the end of the Lightning era? Feels like all new iPhones and iPads are USB-C now.

Seems like it. Took them long enough, lol.
I miss the fun colors. Everything’s just looking kinda dull lately.
