AOD iPhone 15 – Anyone Tried This Yet?

I used a software to make my iPhone 15 have an Always On Display (AOD). It’s really cool. I’ll leave a tutorial for anyone interested in the comments below.

Guys, don’t do this, your screen could get burn-in. It’s just not worth it.

You can always turn it off in settings if you’re worried about it

No, it won’t happen. That was an issue a few years ago. OLED displays are much better now.

I’m just warning you guys from my experience. I don’t want you to make the same mistake I did.

How do you do it?

Alright, search for ‘Nugget iOS’ online and find a video. You need to download a shortcut. After that, open the file and save it to your email or iCloud. Then, save it to your PC. Go to the Nugget ‘Apply’ tab and upload the file. Once it says ‘success,’ search for ‘AOD for unsupported devices’ or just ‘AOD display.’ Apply other options if you want, then click apply.

@Luca
Thanks so much! I followed your steps, but now my iPhone just stays on AOD. Do you know how to turn off the screen? 30 seconds screen off doesn’t help.

Oh, never mind! I just figured out that you can turn off AOD in settings.

Did you use Misakax or Nugget?

I used Nugget.

I used Nugget.

I tried it on my iPhone 14 too, but it didn’t work right. It disables tap-to-wake, so you have to press the side button to turn the screen on. I turned it off later.

@Phoenix
Yeah, I got the same issue.

Does the program make the phone run at 1Hz?

No, the hardware can’t do that. It’s like using Nugget to increase RAM or add a new camera, not possible.

Even though it’s nice to have AOD, our devices weren’t made for it. It can cause battery issues and burn-in.

I just turned it off after one day. I’m hoping it didn’t cause any burn-in. Does burn-in take long to develop?

@Luca
It takes a while, but just be careful with it.
