Anyone else upgrading from 8 Plus to 16 Plus?

My 8 Plus was still doing fine, but WhatsApp stopped working, and I use it a lot. Had no choice but to upgrade.

Still stuck at 60Hz though

Props to the 8 Plus for lasting that long. If it worked that well for you, the SE might have been a good option too.

I was actually waiting for the SE 4, but my 8 Plus just couldn’t hold on any longer.

My 8 is still running WhatsApp just fine, but I had to upgrade since my watch wouldn’t sync anymore.

I got the 16 Plus too, and I love it

Nice! I got my mom a 16 Plus to replace her 8 Plus. Her old phone was painfully slow. I was torn between the 16 Plus and the 16 Pro Max, but I liked the lighter feel of the Plus, and my mom doesn’t care about high refresh rates or zoom. She’s happy with it, so no regrets!

Good choice. A bigger screen is better for parents, and let’s be honest, they don’t care about 120Hz or extra zoom. No need to spend more.

Exactly. If you’re not switching between them side by side, 60Hz isn’t even that noticeable.
