Anyone else having iPhone alarm issues?

Sounds like you might be doing something wrong.

Nope, it’s not on my end.

Well, people seem to disagree judging by the downvotes :joy:

Lol, the downvotes are coming in hot.

@Blair
Another downvote here… people really don’t like your take huh?

iPhones are just messing with me at this point. Apple must be plotting something.

It’s probably not the alarm app itself. Maybe try using the 24-hour format if you’re more comfortable with it. Also, clean up some of the alarms in the list by using the ‘Edit’ button at the top, so you can properly see everything. And double-check that the sound setting isn’t set to ‘None’. Have you tried setting a Sleep Schedule alarm instead?

@Leith
Honestly, I’ve never had issues with the alarm app. People just love to complain I guess.

I’ve literally watched my daughter turn her alarm off, then go right back to sleep without even realising it went off.

@Luca
That’s why you need like five alarms just to be safe.

@Luca
I’ve had the same problem. I end up turning off the alarm in my sleep and completely forgetting about it.

Exactly . Then they act surprised like the alarm never went off.

@Leith
And how’s that supposed to help me? I know how to use the alarm. The problem is, it just didn’t go off. When I woke up two hours later, the alarm was still marked as active.

@Brier
You people are really something. All I’m saying is the alarm didn’t go off and now it’s an argument. I’m done with this forum.

Just switch to 24-hour format. It’ll probably make things simpler.

If an iPhone can’t handle AM and PM, I’m not sure I even want it lol.

Relax, it was just a suggestion.
