Anyone else facing Instagram Reels zoom issue on iPhone 16 Pro?

Hey everyone,
I recently switched from a Pixel to an iPhone 16 Pro and I’m noticing something odd with Instagram Reels. They seem zoomed in a lot, and some of the text goes off the screen. Is anyone else seeing this? I didn’t face this issue on my Pixel.
Please let me know if it’s normal or if there’s a fix.

Hmm, that sounds like a strange issue.

I totally agree, I watch a lot of stuff on mute now because of them.

I thought this was from r/funny at first, this is hilarious.

It’s actually an Instagram problem, not the iPhone. They need to fix their app.

Yeah, I have two accounts, and one gets the updates fine, but the other has zoomed in reels.

She wishes. An office chair.

I don’t think that’s what they meant by wheels.

I have the same problem, haven’t figured out how to fix it yet. Interesting example though.

At first, I thought you were talking about the leg confiscation thing.

This has been a common issue for years with phones that have a taller screen. When you watch 9:16 videos in full-screen mode on IG, they crop the sides, which sometimes zooms in the content. Creators often try to avoid this by not putting text too close to the edges, but some smaller creators or those with wider screens don’t realize their content is being cropped.
