I had no problems with my iPhone 12, but the ear speaker stopped working a few days ago, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I never really liked the ‘Pro’ models before, but I thought I’d give it a try, especially since I have a lot of trips planned this year. A better camera would be helpful for capturing memories. So far, everything is working great, and I can’t see myself going back to the old phone.
A lot of people are upgrading from the iPhone 12 to the 16 Pro, including me. Just got mine today.

Congrats! Four years seems like the sweet spot for upgrading. If you upgrade too early, it feels like there aren’t enough changes to justify it.

Yeah, I’m just getting the hang of it. Still figuring out the differences. So far, I’m loving the Dynamic Island, and I’m trying to find the best display text sizes and some camera settings. Everything else is great so far.
I just traded in my X for the 16 Pro because my apps started working poorly. I bought the X new and didn’t have any issues until the end. Now, I got more storage, and it’s been nice.

I’ve had my X 64GB since May 2018. I’m getting the 16 Pro 256GB next month. Never thought someone like me would still have an X!

I was going to upgrade, but I just got a new battery in my 12 Pro, so I’m good to go for a while.
I bought one yesterday. Honestly, I don’t care much for the camera, but I wanted the 120Hz screen. It was also on sale, so I thought why not? I’m excited because now I can charge with the many USB-C cables I have. Now, I just need the Air Pod Pro 3s to upgrade my 2s, so I’ll be full USB-C.

Yes, it is! I was going to settle for the Apple silicone, but I got recommended the Hybrid T, and I’m so happy. The touch control works perfectly.

I used the Apple silicone case for the first few months, but switched over. It didn’t hold up well. I dropped my phone from about 5 feet up, and it kept the phone safe, but the silicone on the bottom started to tear off.

No, but it has corner pads and a slightly taller lip than the standard Apple silicone case, so I like it. Plus, it retains the capacitive button instead of having a cutout.
Literally the same situation I was in when I upgraded. I had a trip coming up, and my 12 was dying too. I ended up really happy with my choice to try the Pro this time around.
